This is my cat, Molly. She is bad. Not just naughty, but actually bad. She somehow manages to sound like a herd of elephants when she runs, she is constantly underfoot, she gets into everything, and she has a new trick of opening the screen door to let herself out, thus letting all the bugs in. I love her to bits. I hate the thought of leaving her.
My husband is a very smart man, and I'm sure everything will be okay. That said, I still worry. Molly is pretty adept when it comes to caring for herself and will open the food bucket all on her own to get something to eat and has no trouble drinking out of the toilet. But somehow I can't see my husband letting the cat snuggle the top of his head all night while she purrs loud enough to be heard in another room. I'm not convinced he'll play fetch with her over and over and over. (Yep, Molly plays fetch, check out the You Tube video below!) Or that he'll take the time to talk to her and love her properly.
So if you happen to see him while I'm gone, be sure to ask how my cat is doing. And just in case, ask him if he's fed her recently.
